Biography
Gülay Eroğlu is a Turkish painter and art instructor based in Antalya. She graduated from the Original Printmaking/Painting-Art Teaching Department of the Burdur Faculty of Education at Süleyman Demirel University. In 2005, she founded the Meneviş Gülay Eroğlu Art Workshop in Antalya, where she has trained students for Fine Arts High Schools and Fine Arts Faculties. Eroğlu primarily works with watercolors and oil paints. In 2019, she held a solo watercolor exhibition at the Antalya State Fine Arts Gallery. In her 2022 solo exhibition, "Gülay Eroğlu's Women," held at the Antalya Museum, she addressed the theme of gender equality through portraits of women, utilizing Seljuk motifs in her work.
