Biography
He graduated from the Painting and Sculpture Department of Gazi Education Institute. He worked as a teacher in various teacher training schools and at the Istanbul Teacher Training School Painting Seminar. He was appointed from his position as a painting teacher at Kabataş Boys' High School to the Ortaköy Education Institute in Istanbul. There, he taught courses on the development of art in children and methods of teaching painting. Dicle, who participated in numerous group exhibitions as well as state painting and sculpture exhibitions, has held nearly thirty solo exhibitions in Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Paris, Geneva, and Brussels. His extraordinary choice of colors, his skillful use of a gestural approach, the complex and mysterious textures he creates, his powerful and deeply studied compositions, and the movement born from a momentary effect, a personal feeling, an instinct are reflected on the canvas.
