Biography
He was born in Ladik, Samsun in 1946. He completed his primary, secondary, and teacher training in Ladik. In 1968, he graduated from the Painting and Sculpture Department of Ankara Gazi Education Institute. He was assigned by lottery to Akpınar Primary School, where he worked for 12 years, and later taught at two different secondary schools in İzmir before retiring. A member of B.R.H.D and UPSD, the artist has held 70 solo exhibitions, participated in numerous competitions and 121 group exhibitions. His works are included in private and public collections both in Turkey and abroad.
