Biography
Abdurrahim Güney was born in 1969 in Pasinler district of Erzurum. He graduated from Atatürk University, Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education, Department of Painting Education; he completed his master's degree at Akdeniz University, Institute of Fine Arts. In his paintings, he particularly focuses on the relationship between emotion, color, and figure through female portraits, horses, flowers, and butterflies. The artist, who emphasizes fantastic composition, deformation, and expression in the eyes in his portraits, has held solo exhibitions, won national and international awards, and his works have been accepted into various official and private collections. He continues his art education and artistic production in Antalya.
