Biography
Born in 1981 in Odzun, Armenia, Artsrun Apresyan's talent for painting was discovered at a young age, leading him to enroll in the art school in his hometown. After graduating in 1996, he moved to the capital and continued his education at the Panos Terlemezyan Art College. Following three years of training there, he was accepted into the Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts in 1999. In 2005, he earned his master's degree and received the "Artist-Painter" diploma. Since 2001, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including those in Yerevan, Tbilisi, New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Barcelona, and Granada. His first exhibition in Turkey took place in 2014. Since then, he has consistently held solo exhibitions at IMOGA Art Space approximately every two years, and in 2019, he presented a printmaking exhibition at IMOGA. His works are included in private collections in more than 10 countries, including the United States, Germany, France, Spain, England, Russia, Canada, Georgia, Cyprus, Turkey, Iran, and Armenia.
