Biography
Emine B. Tusavul is an artist working in the fields of graphic design and original printmaking. She began her education in the Graphic Design Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Academy in 1979, later transferring to the Fine Arts Department at Skidmore College in New York, graduating in 1983. She worked as an assistant at Skidmore College from 1982 to 1984. After returning to Türkiye, she worked in advertising and design, founding Bir E Bir Advertising company in 1998. Tusavul produces works using engraving and screen printing techniques. Her works are included in the IMOGA Museum and the Skidmore College Art Collection. She also served as a lecturer at the Fine Arts Department of Istanbul Technical University from 2000 to 2018, and at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Işık University from 2007 to 2018.
