Biography
Born in 1961, Feridun Oral graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1985. The artist, who pursues painting, illustration, and children's literature simultaneously, has had his works selected numerous times for the Bologna Children's Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition. He has received various international awards, including the 1992 Noma Concours second prize, the 2001 European Illustrators Biennial honorable mention, and the 2019 Bologna Illustrators Exhibition Excellence Award. He created archival pigment prints at IMOGA in 2013 and continues his production in Istanbul.
