Biography
Born in Çankırı in 1947, Fevzi Karakoç studied at the Istanbul State Applied Fine Arts High School between 1968 and 1972. He became an assistant at the same institution in 1974, and in 1979, he received the Salzburg City Award for his lithographs at the Salzburg Summer Academy. Karakoç obtained his Proficiency in Art degree in Original Printmaking in 1983, became an Associate Professor in 1986, and a Professor in 1993. He worked at the Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts until January 2002. Since February 2002, he has been a faculty member at the Yeditepe University Faculty of Fine Arts.
