Biography

He was born in Ardahan on February 15, 1940. Between 1963 and 1970, he received training from Refik Epikman, Orhan Kılıç, and Lütfü Günay at the Ankara Turkish-American Cultural Association. In 1969, he learned engraving from Professor Lengran. In 1984, he made linocut prints in the studio of painter Gören Bulut. In 1990, he went to Paris and conducted research in museums. A member of the Six Group and the United Painters and Sculptors Association, the artist currently continues his work in his own studio in Ankara.
