Biography
Haydar Durmuş, born in 1942 in Arsin district of Trabzon, is a Turkish painter and art educator. He graduated from Trabzon High School in 1962 and from the Painting Department of Ankara Gazi Education Institute in 1965. He began working as an art teacher that same year and subsequently taught art and crafts in various schools in Trabzon. In 1990, he became a lecturer in the Painting and Crafts Education Department of Fatih Faculty of Education at Karadeniz Technical University and retired in 1995.
