Biography
Mustafa Tunçalp (b. 1941, Diyarbakır) is a Turkish ceramic artist and academic. He graduated from the State Applied Fine Arts College in 1966 and pursued studies in ceramics education and practice in Germany. Tunçalp, who has taught at Hacettepe and Dokuz Eylül universities, is known for his ceramic panels and abstract works; his art draws inspiration from Anatolian culture and bird figures.
