Biography
Prof. Nuray Yılmaz is an academic and textile artist who has worked in the field of Traditional Turkish Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dokuz Eylül University. She has conducted research on carpets, rugs, and flat weaves; and has supervised postgraduate theses. Her book, "Simple Woven Knits," co-authored with Elvan Anmaç, was published by Dokuz Eylül University Publications in 2000. It is registered in the gallery archive under exhibition #69 | Weaves, dated 08.10.2004-05.11.2004.
