Biography
She is a Turkish ceramic artist, academic, and professor. She graduated from the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts (İDGSA) with a master's degree in Ceramics in 1974. From 1975 to 1984, she worked in the ceramics industry in various organizations as a designer, manager, and consultant. In 1984, she received a "Proficiency in Art" degree from the Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Social Sciences. She established the Ceramics Department at the Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts. She currently serves as a faculty member and head of the department. A member of professional and artistic organizations, she has numerous papers and articles on ceramic art, history, technology, and education, as well as a book titled "Luster" and a translated book titled "We Are Making Ceramics".
