Biography
Born in 1956 in Kardzhali, Bulgaria, he completed a four-year program at the Sofia High School of Fine Arts, followed by six years of study in painting, sculpture, and graphic arts at the Sofia Academy of Fine Arts. In 1982, he was accepted into the Union of Bulgarian Artists. In 1985, he emigrated to Turkey with his family. He won first prize in a competition in France with participants from 28 countries, the Plener Prize twice, and the Bulgarian Artists Union Award. After returning to Turkey, he participated in group exhibitions and held solo exhibitions. His watercolor and oil paintings reflect an expressive style that reveals the subconscious world, accompanied by unique figure formations. Abstract approaches predominate in his sculptures.
