Biography
Born in Çankırı in 1968, Yusuf Ziya Aygen completed his undergraduate studies in Graphic Design at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1994 and his graduate studies in 1998. His works have received four awards, including the Original Printmaking awards at the State Painting Competitions; he has participated in solo exhibitions as well as national and international group events and biennials. Between 2001 and 2003, he worked on intaglio printing and engraving at Çamlıca Art House, and in 2008 at İMOGA. The artist, who lives in Istanbul, continues his academic work at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts.
