Biography
Zerrin Kehnemuyi was born in Istanbul in 1936. In 1954, she entered the Painting Department of the State Academy of Fine Arts; after completing her gallery year under the direction of Halil Dikmen, she studied in the Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu Studio and graduated in 1961. Between 1961 and 1979, she worked as a painting teacher at Robert College; as a painter, educator, and writer, she participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and her works are included in collections both in Turkey and abroad. The artist, who passed away on February 11, 2023, is registered in the gallery archive with the exhibition #143 | “October Passage 20” 20th Anniversary Exhibition, dated 12.10.2021-30.10.2021.
