About the Exhibition
Hasan Kıran’s wood engraving exhibition is on view in Antalya from 31 October to 27 November 2026. Official opening: Saturday, 31 October at 11:00; reception: 17:00–19:30.
Traces of Memory II is a solo exhibition by Hasan Kıran exploring time, material and collective memory through wood engraving and woodblock printing. The artist approaches the tree as a surface bearing traces of the past, while presenting carved blocks as artworks in their own right, beyond their role as printing tools. The resistance of wood and the marks of the gouge become records of time and labour; the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the texture and memory held in the material.
The exhibition runs from 31 October to 27 November 2026 at Best Western Plus Khan Hotel, Kazım Özalp Avenue No. 10, Muratpaşa, Antalya. The official opening is Saturday, 31 October at 11:00, followed by a reception from 17:00 to 19:30. The exhibition is part of the Antalya Culture Route Festival.
